Rebranding of BFS Architects. Visual identity project with emphasis on being innovative and multi faceted, as well as the firms modern take on materials, construction angles, and detailed work. They still wished to appear with a bit of edginess in their profile, and a lot of emphasis was put on the typography and the way it would be conceived and used. For example the BFS logo is drawn as a stencil font, to add a bit of complexity between the shapes, and make it suitable for carving into concrete at the same time.
The original BFS Symbol was to be incorporated into the new profile. And was cleaned up and kept in the same colour as the rest of the logo. As the Symbol is too complex to have next to both the logo and the subheading at the same time, and as it is not very distinct in small sizes. It was made a rule to place it centred on the back in such cases, proportional to the logo. In larger sizes however, it is placed together with the logo, but without the subheading.
