Øya is Norways 2. largest festival and we did all the work communicating, promoting the festival. We focused on messages in subtle manners, on emotional, quality graphics mirroring the core values of the festival. The feeling of a outdoor festival captured in a subtle moment, using images that leads your thoughts towards outdoor activities and the spirit of festival living. The festival have a daytime arrangement and a night time clubbing program, separating these but within the same expressions of graphics.
We created a lot of merchandising focusing on good products and based on different several different motives, all connected to the imagery of the festival but adapted to the different target groups presence at the festival. Kids, heavy metal, rap, singer/songwriter, all could find a t-shirt they could wear.
Other merchandise with great sales numbers has been dj-bags, promotional cd´s, a own festival Rum, key chains, mobile screensavers, downloadable festival programs, etc
