Norwegian Industrial Designers Permafrost were invited to participate at Salone Internazionale del Mobile 2003 in Milan. Permafrost involved Bleed to design the concept's identity and graphics to complement the product exhibit.
The concept derives from an experimental design process where conflicts and contrasts have been inspiring factors. A line of innovative and conceptual products based on opposites was launched during the show. The main product exhibited, called ‘Greenfields’ inspired the choice of colour on the production material.
The team applied considerable amount of humour into the design. The objects invoke thought and open up a different view on things we surround us with in our daily life.
